Behavior Issues

• Aggression towards people or other animals

• Fear of objects, people, or other animals

• Stereotypic behaviors such as cribbing, stall weaving, box walking or pawing ground

• Anxiety and lack of trust, especially for rescued horses and/or previously abused or neglected horses. But even for horses who have been trained with heavy handed traditional horse training methods

Husbandry Training

• Help with fear issues and lack of trust with humans

• Is your horse recovering from a medical procedure or could they just use some mental stimulation? I can help teach your horse a stretch routine using clicker training

• Does your horse dread haltering, saddling, fly masks, hoof picking, shoeing, and other husbandry procedures? I can make it fun with cooperative care and start buttons

• Would you like your horse to stand calming for tacking and handling without tying or punishment for moving away?

• I can teach your horse to come when called, back up when needed and not crowd you when coming through the gate

Enrichment 

• I can teach fun, cognitive games and tricks which will benefit your horse mentally, physically, and emotionally

  Rates

  Consultation is held at your barn and is 90-minute. The fee for this $295. Additional support sessions if necessary or desired are $160 per hour.
