Behavior Issues

• Aggression towards people or other animals

• Fear of objects, people, or other animals

• Stereotypic behaviors such as cribbing, wind sucking, weaving, box walking, pawing, self-mutilation and wood chewing

• Anxiety and lack of trust, especially for rescued horses and/or previously abused or neglected horses. But even for horses who have been trained with heavy handed traditional horse training methods

Husbandry Training

• Help with fear issues and lack of trust with humans around tacking and care

• Is your horse recovering from a medical procedure? I can help teach your horse a stretch routine

• Does your horse dread haltering, saddling, fly masks, hoof picking, shoeing, and other husbandry procedures? I can make it fun with cooperative care and start buttons

• Would you like your horse to stand calmly for tacking and handling without tying or punishment for moving away?

• I can teach your horse to come when called, back up when needed, not crowd you when coming through the gate, or mug you for food

Enrichment 

• I can teach fun, cognitive games and tricks which will benefit your horse mentally, physically, and emotionally

Service area and rates:

I travel up to 40 miles from Escondido for consultations and private sessions. Up to 30 miles there is no mileage charge. Over 30 miles and up to 40 miles there is an additional $25 mileage fee.

In person consultation: $325.

After your consultation, one-hour sessions are available for support, troubleshooting and clicker training instruction. These sessions are $175 per hour.
